**must be**italicized (except Greek, Hebrew and Cyrillic letters). - Use 1 1/2" left margins, 1" top, bottom, and right margins.
- Each figure should be placed within the text on the same page as the first reference to it, or on the page following the first reference.
- Use any consistent standardized footnote method.
- Do not wrap equations. All longer equations must be centered
on their own lines so that equations do not begin on one line, then continue
on the next. For example,

- Align relation symbols such as =, >, or < when you have a list of expressions. For example:
- Write in complete sentences - this includes the equations!
- Do not use l (lower case L) as a variable if it looks like 1 (one) on your printer. (More generally, avoid any variable that is easy to misread such as lower case L's.)
- Bibliography with proper number of references
- Appendixes - optional; serially labeled A, B, C,...

(a+b)^{2}- (a-b)^{2 }= (a^{2}+ 2ab+b^{2}) - (a^{2}- 2ab+b^{2}) =a^{2}+ 2ab+b^{2}- a^{2}+ 2ab-b^{2 }= (a^{2}-a^{2}) + (b^{2}-b^{2}) + (2ab+ 2ab) = 4ab.
