Data: A total of 24,800 daily
temperatures, 1930
through 1997, from the National Climate Data Center for Union City, TN
Three data sets are prepared for analysis:
1) Differenced Raw
data (RAW).
2) Residuals obtained
by subtracting the fit from the raw data (DIFF)
3) Residuals obtained
by subtracting the fit from the smoothed data
(DIFSMT)
