Dr. Crystal
Whitlow is an Assistant Professor teaching Special Education in the
Educational Studies Department in the College of Educational
and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Whitlow came to UTM in the fall of 2001 with fifteen years of
teaching experience in regular and special education. Consequently,
her teaching style includes many examples from the real world of the
classroom.
Dr. Whitlow earned her doctorate from The University of Memphis with
a major in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership with emphasis in Special
Education. She holds an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special
Education from Northern
Arizona University.
Her undergraduate degree in Special Education was received from Eastern Michigan University.
