Study Questions on Aesthetics

1.  Which pottery do you like most?  Why?  What about that pot causes you to respond so favorably?

2.  Which pottery do you like least?  Why?  What about that pot causes you to respond so unfavorably?

3.   What can you learn about the potter's from their work?

4.   How does color affect your responses to the pottery?  And shape?  And texture?  

5.   How would you use these pieces, or would you?  Why?   Why not?

6.   Are these pots any better than what you could buy at Wal-Mart?  Why?  Why not?
