NCATE Standards are requiring University based Teacher Preparation programs in Physical Education to move towards a " REAL LIFE" Authentic training . The preparation of teachers in the real schools. Western Kentucky University is in its second year of implimented of a " FULL EMERSION " Collaborative Partnership with two Public School systems for the training of Physical Education Majors in the public schools at the K-12 level.
