This ensemble has very successfully performed in Israel and abroad, presenting a unique combination of the classical repertoire for flute, clarinet, and piano, along with colorful and exotic pieces, some written especially for this Trio. The ensemble adds special improvisations and interpretations.

The KAIDA Trio was founded in 1999. The group's main goals are to explore the repertoire that has been written for flute, bass clarinet and piano during the past 25 years, to have the repertoire for their instruments enlarged, and to explore the connection between contemporary written and improvised music.

The Mountain Laurel Trio was founded in February 2004. All have ties to North Georgia, hence the choic of the name. The group is based in Fort Myers, Florida.

This group's first season together was 2003-2004. Palisades Virtuosi was established to promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, clarinet, and piano. They commissioned 13 new works in their first four seasons.

Trio Spektrum was founded in 1994. The artists are all members of the music faculty at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. Their repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary styles and they have recorded on the NPM label.

The University Trio was founded at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1971. The group flourished through 1988 and after a 15-year hiatus was revived in 2004. The current members are affiliated with UTM's Department of Music.

The Webster Trio was founded in 1988 by Michael Webster and Leone Buyse in order to expand and promote the repertoire for flute, clarinet, and piano through commissions, transcriptions, and research. In Japan Buyse and Webster perform with pianist Chizuko Sawa as the Webster Trio Japan, touring throughout Japan and giving recitals at Tokyo's Suntory Hall and Bunka Kaikan.

The performers in this trio are faculty members at Winona State University in Minnesota. The trio is part of the Artist Series of the Thursday Musical Club in Minneapolis and they perform in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and southern Minnesota yearly. They are featured on recordings of the music of James Hoch.
