Evaluation Methods:

Exams: The student must achieve 75% on exams.
The exam grade for this course will be derived from the scores earned on
unit tests and a comprehensive final. These
exams may be made up only if there is sufficient proof that absenteeism was
unavoidable and the instructor was notified prior to the exam.
Attendance at test reviews is mandatory.
All make-up exams will be a combination of multiple choice and essay .

Quizzes and written assignments: The student must achieve an average of
75% on quizzes and written assignments. These
may include, but not limited to, papers on identification of research
components, surgery and recovery room observation experiences and nursing care
plans. Missed quizzes will not be made up.
