Why German? Endeavoring to become a high school French teacher, it would be near-sighted to believe that one language is enough to become sufficiently marketable. German is an altogether intriguing language, as it is so similar to English. As it turns out, German is in fact a very romantic-sounding language to me, as well. More so than English, at least.
