
Janet M. Wilbert
Program Coordinator, Athletic Training Education Program
In 1990, Janet received her bachelor's degree in
Biology from Sonoma State University in Northern
California. She
completed a teaching credential and the NATABOC certification in
1992. She began teaching at Analy High
School and providing athletic training coverage in the
afternoons. Two years later she moved to Tennessee and
became involved with high school outreach from a clinical
setting. In 1998 she completed her master's degree in
Health and Human Performance from Murray State University
in Kentucky. Janet has been very active with the Health
Occupation Student's of America (HOSA) organization, in
providing instruction for students going to competition
as well as being the chairperson for the various
statewide competitions. She is also involved with the
National Youth Sports Program (NYSP), a NCAA sponsored
camp for youth. She has
been a guest speaker at numerous seminars and conferences
and continues to be an advocate for the profession of
athletic training in all of Tennessee.

Bart Belew- Head Athletic Trainer
Bart returned to his alma mater in the summer of 2000.
He is the Head Athletic Trainer, responsible for coordinating coverage
for all Skyhawk varsity athletic programs, campus recreation
intramurals, and rodeo. His concentration of study at UTM was fitness management,
and he holds a master's degree in exercise science from Ole Miss.
