If you have ever traveled to a country where the language is different from your native language, you likely realize how interested foreign students are in learning to communicate. Although sometimes shy or hesitant due to cultural or language constraints, most international students are eager to listen, speak, and learn more about life in the United States.
At TIEP, we sometimes use the Internet to practice English. You are welcome to join us. However, because every eight weeks my courses change, I can not be certain what activities we will be engaged in when you read this. You might try looking at my ESL Resources page and take the link to the TIEP Bulletin Board to see if we are there. Or, if you send me an email message , I'll see that an international student sends you email or I'll assign you to a student as a penpal.
