Background:
I
have a Ph.D. in Modern Letters from the University of Tulsa. My main
area of interest
is the British novel, particularly in the Nineteenth Century. I am
also interested
in women writers, literary theory, and the twentieth-century American novel.

I
regularly teach courses in women
writers (2002) (2006), the
British novel (2003), and the modern novel. Occasionally I teach special
topic courses such as Jane
Austen: Novels and Films. I also teach an online graduate course on Modern/Postmodern Narratives through BlackBoard.
