LEAD Academy is a comprehensive leadership education and development program
          open to any UT Martin undergraduate student. Participation will equip you with the           knowledge and skills and hands-on opportunities to become an effective leader here
          on campus and after graduation – in your job, in the political arena, and in your
          community.

LEAD stands for:           Leadership                       Education           Application           Discovery

          LEAD is administered through the Division of Student Affairs and is a joint project
          involving Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and business and community leaders in
          West Tennessee.

          As you progress through the various LEAD Academy levels, you will meet and
          work with numerous business and community leaders throughout the state. You will
          be exposed to many potential job opportunities and your leadership portfolio will
          enhance your resume. LEAD Academy participants are expected to have a “leg up”
          on employment opportunities and graduate school. Participants who successfully
          complete all three Levels will receive special recognition at graduation.
