Classes begin today and the first FS committee meetings occur tomorrow, with Instruction and PP kicking things off at 3 pm. PPC has some calendar issues, along with the need to revise the handbook to accommodate the library’s request to get an IT person from their area on the Library committee.
Brian Wagner, Brandy Cartmell, Robert Nanney, and I will meet tomorrow after the Instruction Committee meeting to decide on ways to streamline the work of the Undergraduate Council. One of our goals will be to cut down on the number of student substitution and replacement requests that really do not need to be re-approved multiple times over the years, after the precedent has been set.
If you have any thing you want to have brought before either of these committees, it may be too late for tomorrow’s meeting, but the schedule of all FS committee meetings is on the FS website.
