Chicago - considered the Fashion Center of the Mid-West, offers a unique opportunity for students to study culture and fashion.  By visiting museums, downtown businesses and famous sites, students learn about fashion from behind the scenes.

Marshall Field was a predominant business man who was responsible for building the fashion industry in the late 1800's. One of his claims-to-fame is Marshall Field's Department Store (now Macy's) that spans a city block. He was also responsible for the building of the Merchandise Mart, which is the largest public building in the world.  The Field Museum, one of the best museums in the nation, provides breathtaking exhibits from archeology to culture with the most unusual collections of shoes from all over the world.
