2002 Soybean Festival Participation and New Member Reception

During the Soybean Festival, UTM SAACS hosted Dr. Scott K.Spears and were informed on his research with biodesel. Dr. Scott K. Spear from the Center for Green Manufacturing of The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa presented a program on biodiesel and esters produced soybean oil on Sepetmebr 5. 13 SAACS, 7 chemistry faculty and more than fifty others attended his lecture sponsored by UTM SAACS.

SAACS 2001-2002 President Micheal Fultz gave a demonstration show for 300 students during the 2002 Soybean Festival


SAACS President Micheal Fultz gave four talks on the importance of soybeans during the festival to the student body of UTM and the local school system.
