December 9, 2007- Chemistry Help Session
Members Attended: Christy Lowe, Robert Mitchell, Megan Malin,
Allan Hess and Tiffany Brewer. Dr. Carol Blanchard and Faculty advisor Dr.
S. K. Airee provided a great amount of help to about fifteen students.
Annually SAACS, along with some of the professors in the chemistry department,
provide a help session for students at UTM to come and receive help with
chemistry.
November 10, 2007- 28th Annual High School Science Bowl

At this meeting, several SAACS performed demos related to green chemistry
followed by a green chemistry power point presentation by Robert H. Mitchell.
October 25, 2007- National Chemistry Week Demos and
KLS Meeting
Most of the UTM SAACS attended this meeting and demo show. Also,
other colleges from around the area attended this meeting and performed
demos as well. It was a fun night filled with "The many faces of chemistry."

SAACS hosted a tent on this day were we showed several demos as well as
made liquid nitrogen ice cream for the visitors. The nursing students at
UTM provided blood pressure checks for the guests.
