These are my church related interests.

My wife and I became involved in the Walk to Emmaus and subsequently in the Emmaus Community in October, 1991. We have been privileged to help present a a "walk" or "flight" each year since then within the West Tennessee Emmaus/Chrysalis Community. My wife and I attend several Emmaus activities each month. My wife served as Lay Director of West Tennessee Chrysalis Flight #15 on June, 1996. I served in the same capacity on West Tennessee Crossroads Chrysalis Flight #2 on December 28-30, 1996. Crossroads is identical to Chrysalis except it is designed for 18-25-year-olds.

We have been involved with the First United Methodist Church in Martin since 1983. Currently, we teach a class for young adults each Sunday morning.

Periodically I have taught a Bible Study entitled, "Disciple." This study requires as significant commitment to read and study each week. We began these studies in 1992. Since then I have taught the introductory study and the second year.  In the past year (In addition to this, I am writing an articles for a devotional magazine for youth entitled DEVO'ZINE.
