Can I just block it?
keep getting this e-mail message that I don't want. I haven’t written to him, so there is no way that he could be replying to me. I have been deleting the messages every time they get here, but this whole thing is starting to get on my nerves. Is there a way to block this address in Outlook Express?
Deleting is good choice
I'm glad that your senses have told you to delete this e-mail. All three strikes are against this one: you don't know the sender, the message is inexplicably blank, and there's an attachment that could be anything. The majority of computer users are becoming smarter about this kind of stuff, so the inclination is to just trash the e-mail as soon as you get it, which is the right decision.
Now let's block it
Blocking this sender's messages from appearing in your Inbox in Outlook Express is simple enough. The next time you receive a message from this party, select the message header, go to the Message menu at the top of OE and select Block Sender. This will send all of those junk e-mail's straight to your Deleted Items folder upon arrival. To modify your list of Blocked Senders, go to the Tools menu in OE, go down to Message Rules and select Blocked Senders List. From here you can tweak all of the rules that are associated with your Blocked Senders List.
