What if I can't send my own?
Outlook 2003 allows you to grant another user permission to send e-mail messages on your behalf. For example, if you are away from the office you may want another user in the office to respond to your e-mails until you return.
You can permit another user to send e-mails on your behalf by completing the process listed below:
Within Outlook, click Tools, and click Options. The Options dialog box will appear.
- Click the Delegates tab.
- Click the Add button.
- From the list, select the user you want to grant permission to.
- Click the Add button.
- Click OK. The Delegate Permissions dialog box will appear.
- Click on the Inbox drop down arrow. Click either Author or Editor.
- Click OK.
