World of Rotation
In today's business world, cost is king. Each time you move to a new position, it would be nice to have a new computer to go with it. As we all know, that just doesn't happen. Computers are rotated throughout the company for as long as the can be. As a result you often inherit someone else's machine, completed with someone else's settings
I don't want their stuff!
Part of what you tend to inherit is their email settings as configured in Outlook. Many times the solution is as simple as deleted their email account settings and personal folders and then setting up your own. At times though, that can be a bit messy. What if you just want to start from scratch. What if you want to get rid of everything and start over? Can I do that? Yes!
The following shows how to reset Microsoft Outlook 2000 to First-Run status to enable the Welcome to Microsoft Outlook greeting. Also describes how to have Outlook re-create sample welcome items (such as the welcome message, note, contact, appointment, and journal entry), and prompt you to use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor.
