R.E.D.H.E.A.D.". R.E.D.H.E.A.D. is an
acronym for Reading Every Day Helps Everyone
Achieve Dreams. She created this
program as a senior in high school to
promote literacy by encouraging children of
all socioeconomic status. To promote
this, she has asked anyone who wants to
donate new/used children's books so they may
be redistributed to after-school programs
and daycare centers in the area. She
believes that children deserve the
opportunity to learn and be educated.
Through this program, she has made access to
books possible for many children in West
Tennessee. Literacy is essential for
success and survival in today's society.
