Logos undergoes temporary style change
Technical difficulties have forced a temporary style change for The
Logos. We are currently seeking out new publication software or methods
and hope to have it in place by the next edition. We apologize for any
inconvenience or shortage of information that may be visible with this
issue. We will have a new look hopefully up and running with the next
publication!
NPHC finishes Constitution revisions
The UTM NPHC has finished much anticipated constitutional revisions
and will be implementing those the last week of February. Included in
these changes are a newly revamped student leadership structure designed
to provide more effective leadership for the council.
IFC gains 39 new members
The IFC completed its spring recruiting processes at the end of January
adding 39 new members to the fraternities. This represents an increase
from Spring 2002. IFC is currently reviewing the spring recruiting processes
and is looking for ways to improve it while making it easier on everyone
involved.
UTM Greekfest raises record $5000 for Alyssa Ray and Autism
Research
A week of events ranging from speakers to a line dance and lip sync
concluded with a check presentation to Alyssa Ray to benefit her and
autism research. UTM Greeks combined efforts to raise $5000 for Alyssa
during Greekfest 2003, a week designed to celebrate the Greek community
at UTM. Kicking off with the Greek Awards Banquet and a new event "Jail-n-Bail"
the week went into some old familiar events with the Lip Sync and annual
step show. Zeta Tau Alpha and Sigma Phi Epsilon were awarded the participation
awards for the week as the most active participants.
