Citrus
Action
Saturday, March 29
As I was cleaning my bathroom, I pulled
out the Fresh Brush toilet scrubbers and noticed that
they had a pleasant new scent. Then I flipped the package
over to see if, you know, maybe I shouldn't be sniffing
these things. Well there was no warning about not inhaling
too deeply while cleaning your toilet, but it did warn
quite vehemently DO NOT USE FOR PERSONAL HYGIENE! So
that's why my skin is so dried out! I've been scrubbing
my face with a toilet brush for the past month.

Spring
Cleaning
Friday, March 21
As yesterday was the first day of spring
and I just so happened to have a free moment today,
I thought it was high time to do some spring cleaning.
Of the website, that is. I'm sure you must be overjoyed
to see that this page is no longer filled with posts
from January, that the links are now a wonderful shade
of green, and that a prickly caterpillar has made himself
at home up top.
Nothing terribly exciting has been going
on here lately, aside from spring break last week.
Perhaps you would like to see pictures?
On the first day of spring break (and
for the first time all year, nonetheless) we had snow!
We got about 5 inches, and that's a lot for us. Around
here, when so much as an inch of snow is in the forecast
everybody makes a mad dash for Wal*Mart in a panic
to buy groceries. Because, who knows? What if we got
snowed in?
I, on the other hand, experience a severe
retrogression of mental function in the presence of
snow. Can we go outside? Do you have a sled at your
house?? Should I make a snow angel??? Do you think
I could slide down that hill with my pants???? I had
lofty ambitions of building my first real snowman (as
in, the kind that doesn't reach only to your kneecaps),
but soon realized that the snow was too dry. Instead,
I brought to life...a snow turtle!

When we went to Jackson later in the
week Matt had his second birthday party, which included
a very chocolatey cake.

And then, since the camera was already
out, why don't we take pictures? Silly ones! I will
abstain from displaying the less attractive of the
silly pictures, particularly those of Granny. Oh, and
that video of Matt pretending to be an axolotl.
