Trevecca students at work in schools

About 250 freshmen students from Trevecca spent their first day of college doing community service work - at local schools, churches, and nonprofits. It's part of the school's new emphasis on having their students put their faith into action by serving their neighbors. "It's easy to arrive on campus, and be isolated, and think that's the only community you need," he said. "We want them to know that community is much bigger than their little world on campus."
