Online B.U.S. Admissions
Students admitted to the online B.U.S. degree program are expected to have completed at least 60 hours of credit from an accredited post-secondary institution. These students may have attended a college or university for two years or have attained an AA degree or an AAS degree from a community college. Students eligible for admission to the online B.U.S. should fit into one of the categories below:

Returning Student Admission
Students who have previously attended UT Martin must complete a new application for admission but are not required to pay the $25 application fee. Students who have attended another college(s) since enrollment at UT Martin must have a transcript(s) forwarded to the Admissions Office. A readmitted student must meet the high school unit requirements effective at the time of his or her first enrollment.

Transfer Student Admission
A transfer student must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA to be admitted to the university. A transcript from each college or university attended as well as an official high school transcript must be sent to the Office of Admissions at UT Martin. Transcripts must be submitted, even if no credit was earned. All passing grades are accepted for transfer.

International Student Admission
To apply for admission to the university, each international student will be required to provide the evidence of English proficiency as indicated by a minimum score of 500 on the test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The test results should be sent to the Office of International Programs by Educational Testing Service or by the student. *Applications and other forms and information may be obtained from The Office of International Programs by visiting its web site or by writing to Director of International Programs, International Programs, Suite, 144 Gooch Hall, The University of Tennessee at Martin, Martin, TN 38238.

Beyond the TOEFL minimum score, international students must meet the same requirements as other students for regular, transfer, transient, or non-traditional status.
