The Livescribe Pulse Smartpen (Livescribe, Inc.) provides an easy-to-use tool for placing handwritten notes or problem solutions with voice annotation on the web. For faculty that utilize symbolic nomenclature (mathematics, chemistry, biology, etc.), the Smartpen is a revelation. It provides "Tablet-like" features without the technology overhead associated with Tablet PCs. This presentation will demonstrate the capabilities of the Livescribe Smartpen.
