Ellison Dies with Hints
Ellison machines and dies are located in Gooch 213. The mathematics dies and the dies for the numerals are located on the north wall. Double pump Ellison machines to get a good cut.
NOTE 1: The foam is suggested for Cuisenaire® rods (C-rods), pattern blocks (PB), base ten blocks (BT), other squares, and the tangram (Math 192). Pentominoes (Math 192) work better if cut out of one sheet of bright-colored canvas/mesh available at Wal-Mart.
NOTE 2: How many sheets of foam? One sheet of each color is needed. Scraps may be used to make Base Ten blocks and/or tangram.
