The old Dyersburg Army Air Base continues to launch aircraft as the Halls Tennessee Radio Control Airplane club musters to fly and socialize.
Parkers Crossroads was one of several Civil War battles in West Tennessee. In June, reenactors gather to bring this battle to life.

U.S. Highway 45 from Jackson Tennessee to the Mississippi border has a new nickname – The Rockabilly Highway. The official kick-off was held in Jackson at the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.
Discovery Park Of America officially broke ground and expects to greet its first visitors in 2010. This $100 Million project will put Obion County and West Tennessee right in the center of international commerce and tourism.
