The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Political Science at UT Martin prepares students for careers in private industry, government, and nonprofit organizations. The faculty are committed to developing graduates whose skills, abilities, and ethical standards contribute to a diversified and dynamic society. The faculty emphasize quality undergraduate and graduate instruction and provide experiential learning opportunities for students. Academic programs are delivered in an environment that encourages a broad understanding of the forces shaping social, political, and economic change in a global society. Department Scholarships

Alexander Thompson Arnold, PLLC Diversity Scholarship Endowment

Students must be pursuing a major in accounting, finance, economics, or political science. Preference is given to applicants who have a 3.0 GPA.

Eddie K. Whitlow Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in accounting or finance. Must be a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

James Duncan Wingett Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a major in either accounting or finance. They must demonstrate successful academic performance with a 3.0 GPA or higher and be a graduate of a high school in Crockett, Obion, Shelby or Weakley County.

U-3 Usery Family Scholarship

The U-3 Usery Family Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior student in Business Administration majoring in accounting or finance with a 3.25 GPA or higher. Must be active in at least one on-campus business organization.
