H.P. Hale & Co. was a general merchandise store which conducted business in Gibson, (Gibson County) Tennessee during the first half of the 20th century. The collection consists of account ledgers containing lists and costs of items sold in a small general store in western Tennessee. Included are names of individuals and business that purchased items on credit.
