West Tennessee Academic Library Consortium Records

The West Tennessee Academic Library Consortium was founded in July 1965 to develop an interlibrary loan consortium whereby academic institutions in West Tennessee could best use their collections to assist other libraries in the region. The consortium has expanded into other areas of library management but continues to focus its efforts to expand the accessibility of library resources for academic libraries. The collection consists of the records and minutes of the West Tennessee Academic Library Consortium from 1968 to the present. Includes history of the organization, constitution and by-laws, and members list.
