A major in social work prepares you to work with diverse populations in counseling, health care, schools, community organizations and many others. Internships are a key component of this course of study and provide in-depth, hands-on learning experiences to help better prepare you for a career in social work. Admission to the Social Work program, which is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), is required.
