Captain’s Closet provides free, gently used professional clothing to students at UT Martin. Students check-in and can receive one free outfit.
A: You will need to schedule a resume and mock interview appointment with a Career Planning and Development (CPAD) staff member and you should have an upcoming interview or career-related event to attend.
A: Captain’s Closet is open Monday – Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. in Boling University Center.
A: Outfits cost students nothing. The Martin and campus community donate the clothing so students can have professional clothing.

A: You’re still a student. Any current student is welcome at Captain’s Closet.
A: Captain’s Closet is staffed by professionals and individual appointments are arranged by a staff member. We definitely want you to feel comfortable using this resource.
A: We accept donations throughout the year. The drop-off location is the Career Planning and Development office in Boling University Center, room 210. For more information, please email career@utm.edu.
