UT Martin “Solar Garden”

The UT Martin “Solar Garden” made possible by the generosity of Bill Blankenship, alumnus, volunteer, and benefactor.

The signature sculpture features a solar-powered tree and flowers co-designed by UT Martin Engineering and Visual Arts students Zach Dysinger, Jared Miller, Cory Oliver, Ty Roberts, Joseph Sipes, Brice White, Ethan Appleby, Victoria Falcon, Franklin Hawks, and Thomas Kendall. Dedicated April 21, 2017

The solar sculpture is a collaboration between students and faculty in the departments of engineering and visual and theatre arts, and is yet another example of the hands-on, real-world work experience UT Martin students gain before graduation.
