The FTS Saxophone quartet consists of members Patrick Hill, soprano saxophone, Sesley Welch, alto saxophone, Jeremy Jackson, tenor saxophone, and Annias Haney, baritone saxophone. They are all music education majors who grew up in small towns across West Tennessee. The quartet, along with a group of four UTM Percussion students, performed the world premiere of Steven Snowden’s "Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control" in November 2016. The quartet performed the world premiere of UTM alumnus Dr. Alan Kinningham’s "Summer Nights" at the Southern Regional Conference of the College Music Society in February 2017. In addition to multiple performances on the UTM campus, the group will be performing a guest recital on the campus of Freed-Hardeman University in April. If you have questions about auditioning for FTS Quartet, please contact Dr. Doug Owens at email@example.com.
