For Students

  • QPR Training

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone to help.  This training can be conducted for student organizations and clubs.

  • P.E.E.R. Advocate Training (Peers Educated for Early Response)

This training is designed to help students identify the signs and symptoms of depression in order to assist a peer in crisis; to remove the stigma associated with depression and other mental illnesses; to encourage help seeking and referring; and to improve skills of students who may come into contact with a peer who has depression.  During this training students will have an opportunity for role-play and dialogue.

  • Don't Cancel That CLASS!
If you are unable to teach class on a given day for any reason, give us a chance to use that time! We will be happy to come to your classroom and provide presentations on a variety of health and wellness topics. We typically cover topics such as: alcohol and drug use, stress management, mental health, and others. If your class has a potential health connection, or if you have heard your students talking about a health related issue - this could be a great fit!
  • We welcome the opportunity to talk with or to train students about topics that directly influence their academic and personal success. So don't cancel that class!
