The Child and Family Resource Center was constructed in 1977 as a private residence and was acquired by the University in 19___. It has housed the Campus Central Stores, the college Museum and Archives, and a children's nursery. It is presently the Child and Family Resource Center.

The building consists of 2,086 square feet and containing an office and classrooms.

With the official opening on June 9, 1995, the library expanded to 120,000 square feet, and the renovation included space for a Special Collections area, a Media Center, and group study space.
