BX conduit replaces SJ cords and 4' fluorescent fixtures are mounted solidly to brackets putting them higher up.  Circuit board powered from outlet is part of the campus clock system, which uses the underground telephone cabling to connect buildings.

BX conduit also feeds rack behind main protection frames at end of PBX.

View of front of rack that houses UT fiber panel to IT feed, Local Telco equipment, another HP 2524 that services the PBX's IP needs, a 24 port RJ-11 panel for the rack's POTS needs, a Tenor 16 port VoIP unit servicing a remote building's voice needs over a wireless LAN, two 2-port QTelnet VoIP boxes for quick analog phone drops over the data network, and a AC panel powered off another UPS.

Music On Hold System sitting next to my PC.  Portable MP3/CD player is connected to Samson MDR6 mixer and music is monitored through PC speakers to each side.  Under the mixer is a Premier digital recorder connected to a phone line that allows University Relations to call in and record announcements which are mixed over the music.  Dual outputs of mixer feed both the PBX plus the CATV headend, where the MOH is modulated on channel 66 and is picked up in building IDFs to connect to remote KSUs.

The Switchroom also houses the transfer switch for Crisp Hall's generator.
