Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Breakfast slated for Jan. 21

The seventh-annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Breakfast will be held at 8:45 a.m., Jan. 21, in the Boling University Center’s Duncan Ballroom. Anthony Stewart, head coach of the UT Martin men’s basketball team, will serve as keynote speaker. There is no charge to attend the event, but pre-registration is required.

All community members are invited. Those planning to attend must pre-register for an online ticket at Eventbrite.com by searching for “Martin Luther King” in Martin. All attendees should bring their digital or printed tickets to the event, and tickets will be checked at the door.

The 2019 event is co-hosted by the University of Tennessee at Martin, the city of Martin and the UT Martin Black Student Association.
