UT Martin Advisory Board to meet April 5

The University of Tennessee at Martin Advisory Board will host a special meeting beginning at 12:30 p.m. CDT, Friday, April 5, in room 229 of the Boling University Center. This will be the board’s second meeting since its creation in late 2018. Two members will participate via teleconference.

Agenda items include the approvals of:

  • Five amendments to the advisory board bylaws
  • Modification to the student member appointment process
  • A revised scheduled for regular board meetings in 2019 and 2020

The full agenda and associated meeting materials are available by contacting Erin Chesnut, university staff writer, at echesnut@utm.edu, 731-881-7612 or 304 Hall-Moody Administration Building, Martin, TN 38238. Because this is a special meeting, there will be no opportunity for the public to address the board at this time.

Anyone with a disability who wishes to attend this meeting may contact Chesnut to request auxiliary aids or services needed to facilitate attendance. Contact may be made in person, by writing, by email, by telephone or otherwise and should be received no later than 5 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, April 3.

The University of Tennessee at Martin distributes this notice to all faculty and staff as part of its compliance with the adequate public notice requirement of state open meetings law.
