The University of Tennessee at Martin student chapter of The Wildlife Society recently took 19 students to the Southeastern Wildlife Student Conclave at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. The UT Martin team won second place in the two-day quiz bowl competition behind the University of Georgia, which is the chapter’s highest finish to date. Students also participated in a variety of team competitions, including obstacle course (first place), air rifle (third place) and field photography (third place). Nineteen other schools were represented during the event, including the University of Arkansas, Tennessee Tech, Clemson University, Auburn University, the University of Florida, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
