UT Board of Trustees to hold special meeting May 3

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – A special meeting of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will be held May 3 with most members participating by video or telephone.

The purpose of the special meeting is to consider UT Interim President Randy Boyd’s recommendation for appointment, compensation and other terms of employment of the chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, including grant of tenure in a faculty appointment.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. EDT/8 a.m. CDT and will originate from the Executive Dining Room, 377A Student Union Room, 1502 West Cumberland Avenue in Knoxville. The meeting will be webcast live and archived for later viewing; a link to the webcast will be available at tennessee.edu.
