The University of Tennessee at Martin hosted the 2019 Mid-South Agricultural Finance Conference on Aug. 7 in the Boling University Center. Dr. David Kohl (pictured), president of AgriVisions, LLC, served as conference keynote, as he has done every year since the conference’s inception in 1999. That first year saw an attendance of approximately 30 people, which has grown to include more than 280 in 2019. The conference is sponsored by the UT Martin Horace and Sara Dunagan Chair of Excellence in Banking to give regional agricultural lenders and producers access to the latest information, practices and tools to effectively grow their businesses.
