SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION PROGRAM EARNS CERTIFICATION – The University of Tennessee at Martin’s supplemental instruction program has earned official certification from the Supplemental Instruction International Office at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. UT Martin is the first Tennessee institution to earn this certification and one of only 41 certified programs nationwide. The certification process has taken two years to complete and ensures that the UT Martin program is meeting a high standard of instruction. Supplemental instruction is a free, small group learning and studying program available to all students on the UT Martin main campus and is currently offered in 12 academic areas.
