Bill and Rosann Nunnelly, of Nashville, received the Philanthropist of the Year Award from the University of Tennessee President’s Council during a dinner Jan. 31 at Discovery Park of America. Their $22 million bequest to fund scholarships at UT Martin is the largest in UT Martin history and could provide as many as 90 scholarships each year when the gift is realized.
