UT Martin earns national, state-wide rankings

The University of Tennessee at Martin online programs have received numerous national and state-wide rankings, including the top-ranked Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies online program by bestcollegereviews.org.

The UT Martin Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources programs also received top rankings by various quality assessment organizations.

The BIS program at UT Martin was evaluated for its affordability, content customization and national recognition. The program is offered through the College of Education, Health and Behavioral Science and is a general studies degree, which allows students to customize their degree to their individualized area of interest.

Beth Edwards, coordinator for the BIS program, says she hopes the ranking will bring more attention and students to the program. “I’ve been with the interdisciplinary studies program since its beginning, and I’m beyond excited that it has received this ranking. My hopes are that with this national ranking, we obtain even more adults who desire to complete their bachelor’s degree,” Edwards said.

The UT Martin online Master of Business Administration program received a 2nd place rank among the Top Online MBA Programs in Tennessee by onlinembareport.com, based on its reputation, affordability, enrollment, admissions selectivity and program quality. The MBA program was praised for its ability to be completed in 18 months and its online platform.

The university’s online Master of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources ranked 25th in the nation of the Best Online Master’s in Environmental and Sustainability Management degrees by collegeconsensus.com, based on the program’s reputation, convenience and affordability.
