Skyhawk Discovery Camp set for June 19-23

The first Skyhawk Discovery Camp for middle school students interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. daily June 19-23. The camp is for rising sixth through eighth graders and will be offered by the University of Tennessee at Martin and Discovery Park of America in Union City. The camp will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the UT Martin main campus and Tuesday and Thursday at Discovery Park of America.

Campers will experience a variety of classes and activities focused on biology, chemistry, music and more. Lunch will not be provided, and participants must arrange their own transportation to and from camp activities.

The camp fee is $250 per student and includes a T-shirt at registration, which can be completed online at www.utm.edu/outreach. Contact the Office of University Outreach, Camps and Non-Degree Programs at 731-881-7082 for more information.
