WUTM 90.3 FM “The Hawk,” the University of Tennessee at Martin student-run campus radio station, won 14 awards from the 2021 virtual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Annual Conference.
The University of Tennessee at Martin has named Kayla Brooks as the recipient of the fall 2020 Beth Maloan Outstanding Student Employee award for her exemplary job performance and commitment to the university, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The University of Tennessee at Martin student-run radio station WUTM-FM 90.3 “The Hawk” won 13 awards at the Tennessee Associated Press 2020 College competition, including four first-place awards and Best of Show in radio.
WUTM-FM 90.3 “The Hawk,” the University of Tennessee at Martin student-run campus radio station, brought home 20 awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Media annual conference held March 6-8, in New York City, including the station’s 10th consecutive Platinum Award.

WUTM “The Hawk” and WLJT-TV, Northwest Tennessee’s local PBS affiliate, are partnering to bring a premiere preview of “Country Music,” a Ken Burns documentary, to UT Martin’s Watkins Auditorium.
