Mission Statement

The University of Tennessee at Martin's Verna B. Coleman Center for Women and Gender Equality's mission is to enhance academic experiences while empowering students through the development and promotion of educational initiatives focused on encouraging personal well-being, providing opportunities for professional growth, and offering vital outreach services. The Center is primarily student-centered; however, it serves as an equitable environment designed to benefit all members of the UTM community.
