All motor vehicles operated (utilized) by faculty, staff, students in connection with their employment or attendance at UT Martin must be registered at the UT Martin Department of Public Safety in Crisp Hall. This includes residents of University Courts Apartments using University parking lots.

Parking permits are to be displayed on the bottom of the Driver’s side front windshield on the inside.

Permits may be used for another vehicle that you drive. Permits are not transferable from person to person.

Visitors are always welcome at UT Martin and must obtain a visitors parking permit. UT Martin online visitor parking permits are processed during business hours Monday - Friday between 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. or visitor permits can be obtained at the Department of Public Safety 24 hours a day at no charge. Visitors will need the license plate number of the vehicle they are driving to obtain a parking permit.

Registration improves the security of campus, identifies the operator as affiliated with the university, and provides for more expedient notification in the event of any emergency.

2023 – 2024 parking permits will be available for pick up at Public Safety in August 2023.

The permit price is $85 for the entire Academic Year (August to August).

Students, faculty and staff are required to register for their UT Martin parking permit online.
